Interim Pastor Floyd Addison
Effective October 2, 2017, Pastor Floyd Addison assumed the role of Interim Pastor. Lyn Coppedge serves as supply. Gary Snyder and Lyn Coppedge are serving as Interims for Visitation. We thank you all for your service to Bedford Lutheran.
Pastor Addison is a native of Atlanta and a graduate of Emory University and the Lutheran Theological Seminary in Philadelphia. He was ordained in 1962. He and his wife, Judy, have three children and seven grandchildren. Pastor Addison served as president and CEO of Virginia Lutheran Homes and retired in 2000.
Charlotte Farley, Pianist (with her family)
Charlotte A. F. Farley was born and raised on Long Island, New York. She earned a B.A. in English and Creative Writing from Carson-Newman University in 2001 where she also completed coursework in Old Testament, New Testament, and Spiritual Growth & Development. At age 17, Charlotte became the college’s accompanist for its touring gospel choir, which subsequently led to professional work as a pianist, accompanist, music director, and instructor. Charlotte comes to Bedford Lutheran with her husband Matthew, who is the band director at Brookville High School and a graduate of the University of Cincinnati-College Conservatory of Music. The Farleys live in Lynchburg with their two sons, Liam and Griffin.
